Help Savio Families go Back to School!

Do you remember laying out your outfit the night before the first day of school, knowing that you were about to have a great year?

We all know how empowering have a new outfit for the first day of school can be for students. Feeling confident can change their entire attitude about going back to school.

Savio families are working hard to overcome behavioral and mental health challenges, improve their relationships, and provide for their families. Juggling all of these pieces sometimes means that items we take for granted can be out of reach.

In the past, our generous supporters have stepped up to ensure that these families are still able to receive gifts for the holidays, have their basic needs are met, or receive a luxury item that our low-income families cannot afford. This support can help to ease parents’ worry and provide youth with the hope that they need.

Building on our beloved holiday Adopt-A-Family program, Savio is launching a Back-to-School Drive this year to benefit low-income children and youth in our community! Fill out the form below to help a student put their best foot forward as they walk into the new year.

Are you interested in “adopting” a student in need to help them get ready for back to school? There are several ways that you can help!

  1. Fill out the form below in order to be matched with a student.

  2. Use Social Media to spread awareness of our drive! Post a photo from your first day of school and tell your friends about a time when getting ready for that first day felt like the most important thing in the world. You can include a link to this site, so those who are interested can learn more. Make sure to tag Savio!

  3. Make a monetary donation that will be used to ensure that all students receive the items they need to be ready for the new year!

Please reach out to Robyn Meeks at rmeeks@saviohouse.org or 720-624-9704 if you have any questions!
