A Gift for Generations
For many people, a gift in a will or living trust can be a great way to create a legacy impact for Savio. The future is unknowable. For this reason, a “bequest” in a will makes sense—it preserves your full control over your assets for the rest of your life.
To establish a bequest, you would update (or establish) your will or living trust today. This step would create the instruction for your legacy gift, but nothing happens with your assets until later, when your estate is settled. In the meantime, if unforeseen needs arise—your assets are there to support you. And if everything goes as you’ve planned, a beautiful gift will one day support children and families in our community.
Bequests are highly flexible, allowing you to determine right balance between your loved ones and charities that matter to you, like Savio. This planning leaves you in total control. Updating your plans is also easy if you already have a will or living trust in place. You only need to contact your attorney to explain your wishes.
