Description
MST (Multisystemic Therapy) is a scientifically proven treatment model that targets youth 12-17 who are exhibiting delinquent type behaviors such as running away, substance use, defiance, aggression, and truancy. Therapists work closely with parents and caregivers to leverage change by working in families’ homes and in the community.

What does an MST therapist do?
Prevent out-of-home placement/incarceration
Break cycle of system involvement
Empower families to create lasting change
Engage primary caregiver and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment
Identify and overcome barriers
Conduct therapy in the community, in family’s homes
Use behavioral, CBT, Motivational interviewing
Maintain small, intensive caseload of 4-6 families
Meet weekly for group supervision and expert consultation

Salary:
Starting with candidacy (LPCC, SWC, MFTC): $57,000
Starting Licensed (LCSW, LPC, LMFT): $60,000
Starting Bilingual: $65,000
** Supervision towards professional licenses provided in this role

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy or related field
Bachelors with extensive experience considered on a case-by-case basis
DORA registration to provide therapy such as LPCC, MFTC, SWC
Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination record
