Norma Aguilar-Dave, LCSW, CACIII
Driven by the belief that every child has a fundamental need and right to a stable and supportive family, Norma Aguilar-Dave has spent her entire career driving change and moving social services to modern, researched-backed programming that drive results.
Norma has been with Savio since 1996. Her twenty- five plus years of experience as a direct practitioner, supervisor and administrator provides an important understanding of service delivery and program development. She has personally helped implement 10 evidence-based models at Savio.
Norma’s dedication to vulnerable children and families in our community extends beyond her leadership at Savio. In 2017, she was appointed to the Governor’s Child Welfare Task Force charged with system improvements to the child welfare system. She is also a board member of the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board and the Colorado Association of Family and Children’s Agencies. She has also served as an adjunct faculty at The University of Denver Graduate School of Social Work having taught classes in Adolescent Substance Abuse, Multicultural Social Work, Clinical Interventions and Working with Delinquent Youth.
